The Tone Deaf Emporer
"They (economic conditions) are not as bad as we think." - President Barack Obama commenting on the economy.
Today, the Wall Street Journal reported American families lost 18% of their net worth in 2008, the biggest loss since the Federal Reserve began keeping track after World War II. The report said Americans lost $11 trillion dollars -- a decline that equals the combined annual output of Germany, Japan and Britain.

this clown is unbelievable
Remind me, how many posts did you make about the "Politics of Fear"? Now that he's toned down the rhetoric (because he was reading your blog of course!), he's tone deaf? Sounds to me like the type of thing you'd be ranting about against if it came from the keyboard of a liberal exremist.
Conscience,
I have to send you back to remidial ZACKlyRight Conscience school.
Week after week after week I baited and baited for someone to call me on the facts supporting the fear and no one did. I could not "lose" if I was called.
You see, President Bush was pounded over and over again when he told the truth about the war in Iraq and the war against terrorists but he was always "fearmongering".
My posts about our reformed Fearmonger-in-Chief were mocking, as is so easy to do, the liberal extremists who control the media and everyone else who never let the facts get in the way of a good smear of President Bush.
I can only imagine if President Bush said this economy wasn't as bad as we thought. The liberal hate machine would have had all the out-of-work workers from XYZ plant standing in a food line telling us just how disonnected our silver-spooned raised President was and the President would be that much less effective for the smear.
Mission Accomplished: The economy is not as bad as we think it is.

I think we need to send you back for remedial ZacklyRight-convoluted-logic school. My point is that one of your primary critiques of the media has for criticizing Bush out of both sides of their mouth with no way to win. That is exactly what you're doing here -- is he a fear mongerer or tone deaf? or did you not mean either, just showing the liberal extremists that you can do the things you criticize them for as well as they can?
Conscience,
I cannot argue that President Obama is a fearmonger; I'm disappointed that I never had the chance to agree with anyone who could have chosen from any number of facts to show he was not.
President Obama is most certainly having a Katrina Accomplished moment . . . that will go ignored by the liberal extremists who control the media.
