I guess he's just falling lock step with our Commander in Chief who also is calling for healing words now despite his past comments urging Hispanics to "punish our enemies", telling Republicans they "gotta sit in back" of the bus,and "If they(Republicans) bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun". Nice.

I'm not the biggest John Kerry fan, but at the very least he DID report for duty. Pres. Bush and 97% of the children of Congressman and Senators have NOT. They were, and are now, being protected by their DADDY !!!
