Obama's Enemies List
As most everyone knows by now, President Obama has asked his legions of internet followers to alert him if they see anything on the internet that would interfer with his plans to nationalize health care.
Specifically, he's asking that if anyone receives a "fishy" email or something on the Web that contests his nationalization plans that an email should be sent to the White House at flag@whitehouse.gov. Chilling. Absolutely chilling.
President Obama claims he's just interested in combating any "intentionally misleading" information.
Well, if the President is interested in an honest debate of his nationalization plans then I think he should be concerned about any misleading information on either side of the debate.
Accordingly, I ran the risk of landing on the President's enemies list by emailing him about an editorial that appeared in my (news)paper, the Boston Globe, on Saturday, August 8.
The title of the lead editorial says it all: "When the truth won't stop health reform, try lies" (Boston Globe, August 8, A10).
